Question to the Home Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the question by Lord Morgan on 25 October (HL Deb, col 927), whether they will, in future publications of, or pronouncements on, the Prevent strategy, use the term "radical Islam" rather than "radical".

We disagree with all of your question. Since 2011, our counter-terrorism strategy CONTEST has addressed “all forms of terrorist threat to this country and our interests, whether it originates here or overseas”, regardless of the ideology that inspires it.
