The Government does not provide assistance to MPs to set up non-Governmental visits with the Commission unless it helps to fulfill Government or Foreign and Commonwealth Office objectives. Meetings are directly set up by the MPs in question or the National Parliament Office in Brussels. Additionally, it is not for the Government to comment on the European Commission’s private meetings.
