Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what action they will take to encourage both Israel and Palestine to ratify the Rome Statute.

The UK is a strong supporter of international law and the International Criminal Court. However, we do not believe that such an action by either side at this point in time would serve to end the conflict, and it is likely to make a resumption of negotiations more difficult.
