Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask His Majesty's Government on what evidential basis Ministers decided to abolish the Office for Place.

As we act to boost housing supply, we are determined to take steps to improve the design and quality of the homes and neighbourhoods being built. By redeploying the Office for Place’s expertise within MHCLG, the Government can more efficiently and effectively deliver on its commitment to high-quality design and placemaking.
