Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what action they are taking to discourage incitement to violence and to promote religious tolerance in Jerusalem.

We have urged both Israeli and Palestinian leaders to exert their influence to discourage incitement and promote religious tolerance in Jerusalem. It is vital that the longstanding status quo in respect of access to and governance of the Temple Mount/Haram al Sharif be preserved.
