By the end of March 2015, the UK will have provided almost £220 million of assistance to Jordan since the start of the Syria crisis. In 2014/15, UKAid spending in Jordan is forecast to be around £66 million. Since the onset of the Syria crisis the UK has committed £700 million for humanitarian activities in Syria and neighbouring states. This includes £82 million to date in support of UNICEF’s ‘No Lost Generation’ initiative, which provides protection, trauma care and education for children affected by the crisis.
