State Visits

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what visits by international heads of state are actively being considered over the next 12 months.

In a normal year, we would plan for there to be two to three inward State Visits as well as a number of Guest of Government visits by overseas Heads of State or Government. We do not discuss the details of such visits until invitations have been issued and accepted and any announcement is made by agreement with the visiting Head of State or Government.
