Question to the Home Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what estimate they have made of the number of (1) police officers, and (2) police community support officers, in England and Wales, broken down by police force area.

The Home Office collects and publishes statistics on the number of police officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) employed by each police force in England and Wales on a bi-annual basis.
