Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government which ministers (1) have visited, and (2) are due to visit, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021.

In July 2021, Minister Morton visited Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in her capacity as Minister for Europe and the Americas. Her visit comprised a wide range of engagements with political and civil society contacts, and encompassed not only Sarajevo but also trips to Mostar and to Srebrenica Genocide Memorial, where she paid her respects to those who were killed in the genocide. She also visited Albania and North Macedonia in October. BiH and the Western Balkans remain high on the agenda of the Government, and we are pursuing additional Ministerial visits to the region during the remainder of 2021.
