Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they are making to the government of Israel following reports of the recent killing of a Palestinian farmer by Israeli settlers, and of the failure of Israeli forces to prevent such crimes.

We raised this incident with the Israeli authorities on 30 November. We understand an investigation is underway, which we hope will be timely and thorough. We routinely stress the importance of the Israel security forces providing appropriate protection to the Palestinian civilian population.
