Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what steps they are taking to ensure that Israel returns the 128 million US dollars it is withholding in tax revenues which are owing to the Palestinian Authority.

Our Ambassador to Tel Aviv discussed the decision to freeze the transfer of tax revenues with the Israeli Deputy National Security Adviser and the Senior National Security Council Director Foreign Policy on 4 January. He also discussed the tax freeze with the Head of the Israeli Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories on 5 January. He urged them to reverse it.
