To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the value to the development of enforcement policy of collating data on the number of people killed or injured resulting from drivers breaking the law.

The enforcement of road traffic offences is an operational matter for the police, drawing on relevant statistical information as appropriate, and taking into account any specific local problems and demands.
