Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what discussions they have had with the governments of the Gulf States concerning the funding of UNRWA and UNHCR.

The UK continues to play a prominent role in encouraging the international community, including the Gulf states, to support UN agencies in meeting urgent humanitarian and human development needs. The UK regularly raises the issue of UNRWA funding in discussions with Gulf States at both ministerial and official level.
