Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what plans they have to offer early clarification to City institutions on how they will be able to operate within the European Union after Brexit.

The Prime Minister has been clear that the Government will set out its position on withdrawing from the EU before Article 50 is invoked. This is consistent with providing clarity to all parties.
The Government maintains a close dialogue with market actors across the financial services industry.
