Question to the Home Office:
To ask His Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Sharpe of Epsom on 8 December (HL3749), how, if at all, they regulate the enforcement of penalties for the breach of public space protection orders by contractors appointed by local authorities.

The regulation of the enforcement of penalties for breaches of public space protection orders by contractors that have been appointed is a matter for the local authorities concerned.
