Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask His Majesty's Government what guidance or instruction they have given to NHS organisations and providers about recording that patients have been transphobic due to requesting (1) they have access to single-sex space, and (2) be treated by a clinician of the same biological sex; and what steps they have taken to remove such records.
This question was answered on 19th June 2026
No such guidance has been provided to National Health Service organisations.
