Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask His Majesty's Government how much funding is available to eligible farmers from the Slurry Infrastructure Grant; and what support they are providing to assist applicants with that process.

The Slurry Infrastructure grant will support farmers to invest in eligible slurry stores, slurry store covers and supporting equipment with grants ranging between £25,000 and £250,000.

My department has published full guidance on GOV.UK, which explains what the grant offers, the scheme rules and how to apply and provides advice for planning storage. On 7 December 2022 my officials hosted a webinar to help farmers apply and to answer questions.
