Livestock: Antibiotics

Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask His Majesty's Government when they intend to introduce requirements for farmers to report the use of antibiotics in animal husbandry, in order to align with EU Regulation 2019/6 on veterinary medicinal products.

As part of the SPS agreement, the intent is for the UK (in respect of Great Britain) to align with some articles of EU regulation 2019/6 on antimicrobial resistance. Negotiations with the EU are ongoing, and more information will be made available after the Summit on 20 November.
