Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they intend to include aviation and airport connectivity in the remit of the National Infrastructure Commission.
This question was answered on 9th January 2017
The National Infrastructure Commission’s (NIC) remit includes all sectors of economic infrastructure, including transport (road, rail, ports and airports). The NIC will examine strategic transport infrastructure when it conducts its first National Infrastructure Assessment.
