Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many people successfully registered to vote in the May 2015 General Election in the month preceding the deadline for registration.

On 18 June the Electoral Commission published their analysis of the state of the electoral registers used for the General Election. The report shows that the number of entries on the local government and Parliamentary registers had increased by 1% compared with the last registers published before the transition to Individual Electoral Registration.
