Question

To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many foreign students were studying in UK universities in each of the last 10 years, and how many of those were from China.

The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) collects and publishes statistics on students enrolled at UK Higher Education Institutions (HEI). The overall number of foreign and Chinese students (undergraduate and postgraduate) at UK HEIs is set out in the following table:
