To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will nominate a candidate to the UN Committee for Ending Discrimination Against Women.
This question was answered on 23rd January 2018
The Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women is composed of 23 members. There will be an election later this year to replace 12 of these members, whose terms of office expire on 31 December 2018. The Government is not currently planning to make nominations for this Committee.
