The Home Office publishes quarterly figures on the number of asylum seekers housed in dispersed accommodation by country of nationality and UK region in the Immigration Statistics release. These figures do not include those asylum seekers who do not receive Home Office support and who either accommodate themselves or stay with family and friends.

In addition for those refugees resettled in the UK under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme the Home Office publishes the number of people resettled, broken down by local authority, on a quarterly basis
