Question to the Home Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government which department has overall responsibility for ensuring that 20,000 refugees from Syria are accepted into the UK by May 2020.

The Refugee Resettlement Programme is responsible for ensuring that 20,000 refugees from Syria are resettled in the UK by 2020. The programme is the joint responsibility of the Home Office, the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Department for International Development.
