The Home Office provides accommodation and support to migrants only in specific circumstances during the appeal period. These are for asylum seekers under section 95 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 if they do not have adequate accommodation or the means of obtaining it, and some persons granted immigration bail if they are subject to a residence condition, are unable to support themselves at the specified address and exceptional circumstances apply. The Home Office also provides assistance and advice to facilitate voluntary returns.
