Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many meetings have taken place since 1 January 2013 between the Department of Health's tobacco control team and external individuals or organisations; and, for each meeting, what were the job titles of those present and whether they will publish a summary of each meeting.

Ministers and officials meet a range of organisations and stakeholders on a regular basis to discuss tobacco control. The Department does not keep a central diary of the engagements that every departmental official has had.

Details of Ministerial meetings with external stakeholders are published quarterly in arrears on the Gov.UK website. A copy of these has already been placed in the Library.
