Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will publish the report of the two civilian experts deployed to Bangladesh to report on crimes of sexual violence committed against Rohingya people during the recent violence in Myanmar.
The independent experts' report provided valuable information on issues related to possible crimes of sexual violence committed against the Rohingya community, and the Government is moving ahead to urgently implement the recommendations. The Government recognises the legitimate public interest in releasing as much as possible of the contents of the report, and is considering how best to do so, but cannot do so in full because some of it is based on information provided by Individuals in confidence.
