Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government how much overseas development funding they provide to the government of Libya; and whether any such funding finances migrant detention centres.

The UK does not provide any direct financial support to the Libyan Government or its agencies, and we do not provide funding to detention centres. We support the UN's call for detention centres across Libya to be closed.
