Question to the Home Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they intend to reduce the Home Office salary threshold for granting visas in respect of overseas doctors seeking employment in UK hospitals; and if not, why not.

The minimum salary thresholds were set following consultation with the independent Migration Advisory Committee and are based on pay scales published by the NHS.
