Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the disqualification of Hanin Zoabi as a candidate in the forthcoming elections in Israel.
This question was answered on 5th March 2015
On 18 February the Israeli High Court of Justice overturned the decision to disqualify lawmakers Haneen Zoabi and Baruch Marzel from running in the elections. They will now be running on the Joint Arab List.
