Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask His Majesty's Government what additional resources will be allocated to the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities to support their role as lead commissioning body of the use of statutory levy for prevention of gambling-related harms.

We recognise that the statutory levy represents a generational change to funding arrangements and a significant transformation in the government’s approach to strengthening efforts to understand, tackle and treat gambling-related harm. As work progresses on the development of our future approach to prevention, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities will consider any additional resource requirements.
