Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answer by Earl Howe on 23 February (HL4785) concerning gender balance in the National Health Service, whether the figures stated are actual numbers or full-time equivalents.

As stated in the answer on 23 February 2015 (HL4785), the figures provided for how many doctors were employed by the National Health Service by gender were headcount not full-time equivalent.
