Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what representations they have made to the government of Israel following the reported shooting of a man on the roof of his family home in Deheishe refugee camp.

Officials from our Embassy in Tel Aviv discussed this incident with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF). They relayed our concern to the IDF over its decision not to open an investigation on the grounds that it had substantive information to confirm that soldiers responded after a direct hit on a fellow soldier.
