Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have made any assessment of the economic, environmental and heritage damage caused to Palestinians by the destruction of ancient olive trees by Israeli settlers.

We are aware of the difficulties facing Palestinian olive growers. We have expressed our serious concerns to the Israeli Government and security officials about the destruction of olive trees and the prevention of access to them on a number of occasions.
