Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask His Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Markham on 2 February (HL4910), whether the National Institute for Health and Care Research rapid study on those who remain vulnerable to poor outcomes from COVID-19 despite vaccination has been published; and if so, where that study can be accessed.

The Department, through the National Institute for Health and Care Research, funded an extension of the QCovid 4 - Predicting risk of death or hospitalisation from COVID-19 in adults testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection during the Omicron wave in England study. This has now been “pre-printed”, but not peer reviewed or published. A copy of the document is attached.
