Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they intend to discuss with the British Standards Institution (BSI) the need to increase the allowances laid out in the BSI fund form A47 supported by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy's Assisted International Travel Scheme Fund.

The Government greatly values the role that UK business and other stakeholders play in the international standards making process. We will discuss with the British Standards Institution the current rules of the Assisted International Travel Scheme to ensure it continues to provide the most efficient way of supporting UK participation in international standards making committees.
