Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they have submitted their plans for the implementation of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive; and if not, when they intend to do so.

The Government recently consulted on options to implement in full the requirements of EU Directive 2014/94/EU, known as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive‎. We are now considering the responses and expect to introduce the necessary legislation for a complete and enforceable transposition during this Parliamentary session, which will then be submitted to the Commission.
