Question to the Home Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether the United Kingdom accepts a responsibility to grant asylum to refugees fleeing countries where in the last 10 years British military forces have been involved; and if not, why not.
The United Kingdom has a proud tradition of providing protection to those who need it and we fulfil our responsibilities to all who claim asylum in the UK, irrespective of whether British military forces have previously been engaged in the country of origin.
