Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :
To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to minimise the costs arising from regulatory divergence after Brexit, as identified in HM Government’s impact assessments published by the House of Commons Exiting the EU Committee.
As the Prime Minister has made clear, we are seeking the broadest and deepest possible partnership with the EU. We have set out proposals for an ambitious future relationship with the EU that minimises the regulatory barriers for goods and services. This will be underpinned by high standards, a practical approach to regulation, trust in one another’s institutions, and a shared spirit of cooperation.
