The UK operates one of the most robust export control regimes in the world.

The UK controls the export of chemical warfare agents and key precursor chemicals as specified in the Chemical Weapons Convention and by the Australia Group international export control regime. We can also prevent the export of any other chemical where we have reason to believe that the export concerned may be intended for use in a chemical weapons programme.
