Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they expect to appoint a successor to David Prout as Director General of the HS2 Group; and what the selection process will be.

The recruitment and selection process for the Director General for High Speed Rail Group will be agreed following the appointment of the new Permanent Secretary, which is expected to be announced by late April 2017.
