Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they have made to the Israeli government concerning the destruction of homes in the West Bank belonging to people who have no connection with the recent kidnappings of Israeli students.

We have raised the number of raids on houses with Israeli authorities as part of our broader discussions. On 23 June the Secretary for State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Richmond, (Yorks) (Mr Hague), said it is vital that all security operations are conducted with due care and proportionate use of force.
