Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have, if any, to temporarily ban flights from China to the UK due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus.
This question was answered on 7th February 2020
To date we have not placed restrictions on air services between the UK and China. Our position is under constant review and any decision to change it would take into account the advice of the UK’s Chief Medical Officer and the positions of the WHO and ICAO.
