Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment have they made of the costs associated with implementing the (1) maximum facilitation, and (2) new customs partnership, proposals for the UK's customs arrangements post-Brexit.

The Government’s current assessment of the ongoing costs under both models was published in a letter from the Chief Executive of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs to the Chair of the Treasury Select Committee sent on 4 June 2018 which is attached.
