Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what analysis they have conducted on the potential impact of leaving the EU on vaccine supply within the UK.

The Department commissioned an assessment of the impact of leaving the European Union on the medicines supply chain including centrally procured vaccines and public health countermeasures within the United Kingdom. Work on the assessment is ongoing. It is in the interest of both the UK and the EU to avoid disruption in the timely access of treatment; and to ensure that cross-border trade with the EU is frictionless as possible.
