Jerusalem: Religious Buildings

Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what action they intend to take, if any, to ensure that the status of religious properties in the old city of Jerusalem is maintained.

We continue to encourage Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Jordan to do all they can to work together to avoid tensions and continue to uphold the status quo at the holy sites in Jerusalem. We value Jordan's important role as custodian of the holy sites in Jerusalem.
