Based on our engagement with industry, including supermarkets, Defra expects substantial use of the Northern Ireland Retail Movement Scheme, which includes labelling requirements. Some businesses, especially those with a presence in the Republic of Ireland, may choose to use the Red Lane for certain goods, as now.
