Question to the Home Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government how many people were affected by the Windrush scandal; and how many of those were wrongfully (1) detained, and (2) deported.

The Home Secretary provided an update on the work being done by the Home Office to identify individuals who have been removed or detained, and who might have been part of the Windrush generation, in a letter dated 10 July to Rt Hon Yvette Cooper MP.
