Every three years I have to fill a lengthy form for my sons DLA. With no changes and a life long condition it seems a pointless exercise! the first question should ask if they have had any changes if it’s a no then automatic renewal if it’s yes then fill in the changes instead of the whole form

That this Government without delay recognises the need for a non-means tested bridging pension for women born on or after 6/4/1950 who are affected by the 1995 and 2011 Pension Acts and compensate those at risk of losing up to around £45,000, to also give proper notification for any future changes.

£328.40p per week.

Our pensioners are paid a pittance compared to pensioners from other countries. Make parliament increase the state pension to the same rate as the minimum wage based on a forty hour week.
£8.21p x 40 = £328.40p per week. If we can spend sixty six billion on Brexit we can afford to pay pensions
The government is proposing to raise the retirement age to 68 years with a further proposal to increase this for future generations to 70 years of age.The government should halt any future changes and leave the retirement age at 67 or even reverse it back to 65 for men 60 for women.

I am an ex Atos disability assessor with evidence, factual and anecdotal of the constantly covered problems, associated with the work of Atos on the PIP contract. Neither Atos, nor the DWP seem to think this warrants a response. I feel that anyone having to deal with Atos would argue the opposite.

She took her life 15 days after her disability benefits were stopped for missing a Work Capability Assessment when she was seriously ill.
Compensation for women born in 1950s, due to state pension age change
- Final Signatures: 17,656
Have worked since I was 16 and planned for my retirement at 60. Due to unfair government changes I will not get state pension until I am 66.
The Government responsed to this petition on 15th October 2019 (View Full Response)Currently the DWP handles the deliberation of PIP and ESA. Disability is a state of being dealing with health, not work and pensions. The decisions for any disability related payments or dictates should be handled by the government's experts (i.e. health professionals) in the NHS, not DWP.
The Government responsed to this petition on 16th April 2018 (View Full Response)When State Pension Age (SPA) is reviewed, the underlying principle is that the proportion of adult life spent over SPA should be constant. At first the target proportion was up to 33.3%. Government now wants to reduce this to 32%. The 33.3% target must be maintained or SPA will rise for millions.
The Government responsed to this petition on 6th July 2018 (View Full Response)It's completely unfair that people with life time disability mental or physical have to repeatedly go through forms, face to face interviews, mandatory considerations and tribunals. It's mentally draining and unfair to repeatedly go through this when it's a life time illness you have.
