Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they plan to amend the Oath of Office of the Lord Chancellor to "defend the independence of the judiciary" as contained in the Constitutional Reform Act 2005.

There are no plans to amend the Oath.
